Michael P. Pitre

Healthcare providers, hospital representatives and insurance carriers rely on Michael to guide them seamlessly and compassionately through complex, sensitive medical malpractice cases. Michael is incredibly client oriented, and prides himself on his constant communication, both with his colleagues and insurance carriers. He is meticulous in compiling research and excels in writing, being sure to articulate all pertinent information concisely and clearly.

Michael was very involved while in law school and his array of various extracurriculars created a diverse perspective that he now applies to each task and case assigned. At St. John’s University School of Law, Michael served as Editor-in-Chief of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and participated in the Consumer Justice for the Elderly: Litigation Clinic and Volunteer Lawyer for the Day pro bono programs. He also served as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant and received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Legal Writing on multiple occasions.

Michael began his career at Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin and Spratt as an intern in 2020. Prior to that, he interned at a plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice firm and was a summer associate at a full-service firm on Long Island specializing in commercial litigation, real estate, and corporate law.

Michael’s experiences offer him unique insight into each case. Coupled with his driven personality, he gives each case his full attention, diligently analyzing medical records, expertly drafting litigation documents, and conducting in-depth analyses to ensure he creates the best defenses for his clients.
