Physicians, risk management professionals, and insurance carriers rely on Michele McEnroe to expertly synthesize the complexities of the medical and legal fields in a practical way that will best achieve each client’s individual defense goals.
Prior to rejoining Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt in 2020, Michele gained invaluable trial experience working as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County. After four years serving the people of Brooklyn, she entered private practice. She first joined Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt in 2007, where she handled complex litigation matters for several years, and later worked at other notable medical malpractice firms in New York City. Michele also spent three years working as a claims analyst at a large international insurance company, handling thousands of claims, including construction defects, toxic torts, and environmental matters.
Through Michele’s various prior experiences, she has developed an incomparable legal background that has allowed her to diligently handle all phases of litigation, while also appreciating the need for close cooperation between risk management and the litigation team to successfully protect and defend her clients.
In addition, Michele has provided research and training on general liability insurance coverage issues relevant to the handling of Florida claims for insurance adjusters at a major primary and excess carrier, and continues to expand her general liability coverage expertise and practice.
