Overview

Phillip Miller is a dedicated associate attorney at SACS, specializing in medical malpractice defense. With a solid legal background and a passion for healthcare law, Phillip brings a unique and valuable perspective to our defense team, supporting healthcare professionals and institutions in complex litigation matters.

Before joining SACS, Phillip served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, where he began as an intern before being hired full-time. This experience honed his litigation skills and prepared him for the demanding environment of medical malpractice defense.

During law school, Phillip worked as a student attorney with the Community Economic Development Clinic at Main Street Legal Services in Queens. There, he advised on non-profit incorporation, assisted clients with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status applications, and drafted legal documents, including Certificates of Incorporation, Bylaws, and conflict of interest policies. He also gained experience as a legal intern at a personal injury law firm and Mitsubishi International Corporation.

Before law school, Phillip worked as Associate Director of Policy for the Correctional Association of New York and as a paralegal at the Legal Action Center, focusing on public policy and legal advocacy.

Phillip is an active member of the New York City Bar Association, where he contributes to the Committee on Corrections and Community Reentry and the Sports Law Committee, serving on the Corporate/Transactional and IP Subcommittees. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and belongs to the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law section and Business Law section.
