Nicholas Tam as Acting Moot Court Coach at Cardozo High School
In furtherance of our collective efforts to give back to the community, this fall our own Nicholas Tam will be coaching students at Cardozo High School in Bayside to prepare them for the 2020 Fordham Law Metropolitan Moot Court Competition held in November and December. The coaching and competition will be done virtually.
This year’s fact pattern involves a search and seizure of a student’s laptop issued by the school for virtual learning, and a due process issue regarding the student’s hearing secondary to violations of the laptop-use policy and ultimate suspension.
We look forward to helping out and hope this encourages young students to pursue a career in law.
