Joseph Alexander to Serve as Alumni Moot Court Coach for the National Team at St. John’s University School of Law

In furtherance of our collective efforts to give back to the community, and Joseph’s continuous support of his alma mater, he will be serving as the Alumni Coach for the National Team at St. John’s University School of Law to assist in preparing them for the 2021 ABA's NAAC Moot Court Competition held in February. The coaching and competition will be done virtually. This year’s fact pattern involves a First Amendment issue regarding a State employee’s retaliatory firing due to the political speech of her husband, and whether the qualified immunity protections provided to government officials need to be abolished or modified.  We are grateful to have the opportunity to help the next generation of legal minds.
