Commencing February with a Consent Win

The SACS Healthcare Litigation team won a creative victory in a case involving an epidural steroid injection into the neck of a patient resulting in an epidural hematoma. What made this case particularly unique is that Mark Khavkin was able to achieve a summary judgment win for the informed consent claim using the testimony of our client only without the support of a signed consent by the plaintiff.  The Court found that our doctor’s comprehensive and illuminating testimony was credible and provided enough support to our position to warrant the win.  Congratulations to Mark on his remarkable representation of this client.
