Danielle Chin Obtains Order of Summary Judgment In Suffolk County Supreme Court

In April 2020 Danielle Chin obtained an order of Summary Judgment on behalf of our defendant Family Care practitioner from J. Ford of Supreme Court, Suffolk County.   The plaintiff alleged a failure to properly manage the care of the 82 year old decedent during a Nursing Home stay resulted in multiple injuries, including Stage IV decubitus ulcers, and ultimately death.  J. Ford, in a 12 page decision, detailed the opinions of our expert who specialized in Geriatric Medicine and held that our defendant neither deviated from the standard of care nor caused the alleged injuries, and noted that the plaintiff’s expert wholly failed to rebut those arguments.
