Summary Judgment Win in Nassau County

Congratulations to Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt on our summary judgment win in Nassau County before Justice Fischer! Plaintiff’s claim involved allegations related to a failure to properly diagnose and treat mesenteric ischemia ultimately leading to death of the patient. As a result, plaintiff brought the claim against multiple doctors and hospitals. After reviewing all moving papers and opposition as well as oral argument, the Court agreed that our doctors and hospital should be dismissed from the case and further that our hospital should not be found vicariously liable for the co-defendant.
