Defense Verdict for Craig Bienstock

Congratulations to partner, Craig Bienstock, who secured his latest DV in the Westchester County Supreme Court, where the plaintiff’s attorney accused our client of failing to timely diagnose and treat the then 23-year-old patient’s necrotic bowel, resulting in the removal of approximately 2 ½ feet of her small intestine with lifelong sequela. In this matter, Craig was not only able to successfully convince the jury that our client’s treatment of the patient was in accordance with the standard of care at all times, but his vigorous cross-examination of the plaintiff’s expert resulted in concessions from the expert that were adverse and contradictory to the claims made by the plaintiff’s counsel.
