Congratulations to Mark Khavkin on another grant of summary judgment on a potentially high exposure case. This case involved allegations of a 21-year-old, single working mother that underwent gastric bypass surgery who thereafter had multiple hospital admissions over a two-month period with transfusions and ongoing issues of nausea and vomiting. Autopsy revealed that the patient had a Mallory Weiss tear.
