In a wrongful death case, the Appellate Team upheld a lower court victory in the First Department, which affirmed an order granting defendants’ motion to compel disclosure of a licensing agreement decedent’s estate entered into after his death.  The Court found that, even if the information can also be obtained from decedent’s tax returns, defendants were entitled to discovery of other potentially relevant documents such as the licensing agreement.
